I'm stoked that they turned out yum, since I haven't baked biscuits from scratch since my chef-fy years!
Ingredients:
- 100g unsalted butter;
- 250ml flour (I used 100ml rice flour + 100ml potato flour + 50ml soya flour);
- 200g Cadbury's milk chocolate (which I threw in the food processor to make choccie chips); and
- 3 Tbsp. water.
- Put the processed choc chips (more like choc chunks) in a bowl.
- Process the butter, flour and water in a food processor (I have one of those mini ones which come as an attachment to some brands of stick blenders).
- Mix all ingredients together using a spoon.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper (or just grease it well).
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 12 - 15 mins.
- Makes 18 biccies.
...to be enjoyed with authentic Ceylon tea

Yay! they look great. I love the texture that the chocolate gives the dough.
Would you like to enter this for this month's Go Ahead Honey event? They seem like a perfect recipe for anyone who gets given a huge chunk of chocolate for Christmas! If you would, could you post a link to Stephanie the host in the post above and send them the link?
Her post is here: http://www.glutenfreebynature.com/

Cool! Thankee kindly and will do.
Wasn't sure if they'd qualify, since they are so full of chocolatey sugar (but I figure at least they're homebaked with trackable ingredients).
Thanks for the prompt, Naomi :-)
mmmm I likey, something to get meat on this skinny bod of mine :)
You, too, had chef-fy years? I suspect that we may have a few things in common. :) :) :)
Thank you for this easy recipe...anything with chocolate I'm always there! Have a delicious weekend Juanita!

Hi!
Nita -
Provided one is healthy, that is a quality problem in my opinion, as in permission to eat MORE choccie chip cookies to put ON weight :-) Lol.

Thanks for stopping by from Quote Snack. I thoroughly enjoy your website! We should compare crib notes on past lives sometime :-)

It surprised me too how easy it is. I just threw stuff together till it approximately looked like cookie dough :-) Happy weekend trails!
